Why are you here?
Most of us moms have put almost everyone and everything else ahead of our needs, and some of us have been doing it for a very long time. We spread ourselves thin with all the demands on our time and energy. Keeping the house in order (laundry is never ending), getting kids to and from where they need to be, arranging some sort of meal for every mouth (sometimes 3 times a day - why do they need to eat so often?), nurturing the emotional needs of our family and so much more.
Some of you, like myself, may even be dealing with some health challenges. With all the health info out there I'm sure you feel overwhelmed. Do you wonder when the last time was that you felt energetic and ready to take on the world? I'm guessing it's been a while. You are not alone. Most of us feel this way most (or all!) of the time.
I get where you are coming from!
I've struggled with chronic pain and fatigue issues for a very long time and most recently, with depression. I have studied nutrition and holistic wellness for over a decade but it wasn't until I addressed the mind, body and spirit together that I found my true healthy, happy self. I am nowhere near perfect, I have a long way to go, but along this path I have turned up a lot of really useful knowledge and techniques for getting healthier. This is the real reason I started LunchwithLeah.com, I have so much to share with you!
